If it is the indoor unit that the water is running out of you can go outside and find the 3/4" pvc either coming out of the ground, or from the wall, that is you drain line.

Take a wet/dry vac and **** everything you can out of it, leave the vac on it grab a beer and come back, if a clog is present it should be unclogged.

if it is the outdoor unit water is coming from that is normal don't worry, the manufacturer builds thm to drain from the bottow it's fine

Is there any software that similar to hzd4b that will work with my hammer storage box and can run on windows 8.1

Hammer went out of business quite awhile ago. You would have to find the manufacture software for that particular unit which will be difficult given that the company is no longer in business.

We've had a Cuisinart DCC-2000 coffee maker for less than a year: 1) it stops brewing about halfway through the brewing cycle (with plenty of water still in the reservoir, and 2) the "Clean" light

This problem is caused by a clogged water filter in the unit.

Unplug the coffee maker.

Open the top panel where you normally pour in the water and set the coffee filter.

Gently pull up on the tap that sticks up in the back left corner of the open top. This will free a long plastic part that has a compartment at the bottom that contains a filter filled with charcoal.

Unsnap the small compartment that holds the filter and clean it gently under running water with light brushing.

If there is a lot of coffee build-up, the water chamber where you normally pour in fresh water needs to be cleaned out. Pour in a cup of water and invert the unit over a large sink pouring out the water through the opening you normally use to fill the unit.

Repeat this until you remove the coffee grounds.

Let the unit dry fully before plugging in to run again.

We purchased a Heritage ceiling fan from our local K-mart about two weeks ago, we installed it today and it makes a VERY loud noise in the engine when we turn the fan on... We went through the trouble...

sorry but the company went out of business years ago. The only thing you can do is let it run, The heat from movement will warm the grease and dispers it. The unit is " kinda ceased " do to lack of sales, because there very low end.

My son's car overheated. Went to get some anti

The overheating is caused by the sludge. It is very easy to correct this problem. Remove the radiator cap and open the drain valve at the bottom of radiator. If possible, remove the reservoir and flush out with water. Make sure to get all sludge out of reservoir, then reinstall. Once the radiator stops draining, insert water hose (without nozzle) and turn water on. Keep the drain valve open. Run water through radiator until it runs clear. Once it runs clear, start the engine and let it run while keeping the water running through radiator. Allow engine to run until the thermostat opens up. Continue running water through radiator with engine running until the water from drain runs clear. Once you have done that, turn off the engine. Close the drain valve and refill radiator with proper mixture of coolant and water. Once radiator is filled, start engine and let circulate through engine. Coolant level will drop as the coolant starts circulating. Shut off engine and top off radiator. Fill the reservoir with the required amount of coolant. Testing the coolant at least once a year will help prevent this from happening again. Coolant should be replace a minimum of five years, less if coolant bottle specifies.

You may be out of luck.. The company that made it went out of business about 4 years ago. The mac software they had was for OS9.1
Googling the unit didn't help much either.

After four years I do not thing you have an effective warranty even if the company still in business. you need to open it first and clean it from any builod up dust and check the switch to see if it is working (thermostate)

there are coils in the unit that the water folws across, you can take the filter out and clean the coils, this would help, but even though it is only 1 year old it can go bad,, if it is clean inside and everything is appering to be working it might have just gone bad and n eed a new one

Solor pool pump problem

Hi richkline1,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: You have a 3/4 horse pentair pump. it was pre-plumbed by your pool builder who is now out of business. You installed your solar heater yourself and when you originally installed it on your roof aprox 12 feet off the ground you did not put a check valve after the pump. The basket will no fill with water completely but there is water flowing. there are two inlets in the bottom of your pool and you can barley feel the water coming out of one. before the company went out of business they told you the since you didn't install the check valve after the pump that the back flow of water into the pump has caused the pump now to run in reverse. doesn't sound right to you. they said the something needed to be replaced and they would send someone out. they never did. any thoughts?

I've been thinking about your situation for a few days. First install the check valve. If the problem persists then I would suspect the pump. I have seen a few times that the pump was not the problem. In these cases it was something I call an air lock. It is dificult to explain to the layman but it can be responsible for the lack of flow. It has to do with the way it is piped. I know it seemed simple to pipe but if not done correctly you have this kind of headaike. To solve this I would have to be there. Wish I could do more.
