1. That is not your product number, it is your windows license number. You have now posted it for all the world to steal.

2. Reseat your memory. If that doesn't work and you have more than one stick of memory, remove it one at a time until you find the bad stick.

Et1862 stuck in elogo and restart with a beep continously

See if the computer will start in safe mode.
Steps to get in to safe mode: Make sure the computer is OFF not in sleep or hibernate mode.
Start computer and tap on the F8 key till you see a text screen that gives you the: Start windows in safe mode with networking.
Select that startup. If the computer doesn't start and you get the same beep - Then you have a possible hardware related issue.
If the beep is actually a number of beeps - this would relate to your system memory. Hope this help you in figuring out your issue.

Have a great night.

Kenmore model 84152/94152, 8 years old, started out with3 beeps over and over while running just fine otherwise. Now, 12 hours later, stupid thing started, while not running as in not in use, beeping once...

that isn't a model number and kenmore doesn't make anything so you have to send the full model number off of the dryer, open the door look around the opening where you put the clothes in and send the model number,if it's beeping and starting on it's own it sounds like you have a computer board problem with it but can't help you without the model number.

Hard drive beeping noises

Never heard of a Harddrive beeping before, but I'll take your word for it.

The beeps you hear are BIOS Beep Codes.
The computer's way if telling you something is wrong, and an area to look into for it.

The beeps are a pattern, or Code.
For example; 1 Long beep, a pause; then 3 Short beeps.

One Short beep, pause, Short Beep, pause; and repeating over, and over.

So....................in your own words Eric, tell the jury where you were on the night in question?
Do you have any alibi's?

WHAT? !O_O!

I mean................what is the beep code you hear?

Plus what is the Product Number of the HP desktop computer?
This can be found on the back of the computer, in the white Service Tag.
P/N = Product Number

I just got a pc from a friend without HDD, i put my own HDD in but when i start up pc constantly beeps until i shut down.. so irritated.. plz help, thanks

The beep codes indicate there is a problem keeping it from starting. You code post the model, etc. of the computer, and the number of beeps, and if there are long or short beeps. Mostly these are memory and/or video. If you can, disconnect the hard drive, cd, and any extra cards (sound card, modem, network). Re-seat (remove and re-install) RAM and video card, then try it again. Re-post if you are still getting beep codes with # of beeps, etc.

My PC auto matically restart when turning it on

The beep you hear is your BIOS trying to alert you to an error in the POST (power on self test) routine. Without knowing the manufacturer of your motherboard one can't be certain what the beeps indicate...see this link for more info: http://www.5starsupport.com/info/beep_codes.htm
It's possible you have some kind of infestation, and it's possible there's something more systemic, but without knowing the make and model of your system I couldn't say.
Sometimes three beeps indicates a keyboard error...you could try another keyboard or unplug yours and see if it will boot up "normally" without it.
Otherwise, report back with some more info and we'll take it from there.
