Question about Dell V305w All-In-One R840635AU InkJet Printer
I bought the Dell Inspirion 530 and V 305 printer package several months ago and have had nothing but trouble. Many hours on the phone with techs in India, all kinds of "solutions" that didn't work, and finally got a new hard drive installed. Everything fine for a few days but now the computer and printer can't communicate. Techs have tried everything including reistalling printer, etc. etc. Everything that others on the blog have mentioned. I will never buy another Dell product due to the poor service and apparently from the blogs, the V305 communication problem seems to be happening to many others. A piece of junk, and terrible follow-thorugh from Dell. I've never been so frustrated as the last several months with these products and hours and hours of tech phone calls. I've paid a local tech to come out and he can't solve the computer-printer communication problem and said "go buy a new printer....Not a DELL". What a waste of money I've spent on these items.
The problem could be because of ONE out of FIVE problems listed below. Try the steps recommended and it should fix the problem.
