I have a vita spa hot tub i've replaced the circuit board, heater, preasure switch, check the pump reset the top board but keep getting a flashing flo error and will not heat up.Tested current have 115

I believe with some of manufacturers spas, Vita included, the error will occur if the system is reading that the pressure switch has a "CLOSED" circuit. Bypassing the pressure switch, will still be creating this! What this means to the system: The circuit board does a quick system check. If the board says to itself: "Why does the pressure switch tell me the water is flowing (thats what happens when the pump is on and moves water; pressure is created in the plumbing and the switch then closes) when I haven't even sent power to the pump yet?" Then it will send the error message.

Your switch may need to be calibrated to only close when there is water flowing, and then open within a second of the pump or water flow stopping.

How do an intex pump to a non intex pool?

this question has come up before too me , what i respond with is it to be perminate or temporary ? , the reason i ask if its to be perminate then i suggest purchasing the correct filter for the pool, but on temporary situation (to just finish out season) then yes even though the pipe sizes are different , the use of std plumbing home DWV rubber soft connections available at any good hardware/homecenter would work , but heres the temporary part of it , saltwater pool water degrades the rubber making it brittle , but will last a month or so

Freeze protection is activated on aqualink. Air sensor says 3deg but pool temp says 83deg. Want to know how to adjust air sensor so pool doesn't cycle all night

You don't adjust this. You will need to replace the air sensor. You can get the sensor at or through any pool shop and it is simple to replace. You will find it hanging under your box by the equiptment, or somewhere close in the shade. Follow the wire into the box and find the terminal block it screws into. You will need a tiny flat screwdriver for this. Remove the old one and install the new one, close the box and your done.

My salt water system is saying low water flow. I've checked all connections, nothing is clogged. What do I do? Also, my water is cloudy, what do I need to do?

Hello,
If you are still looking for some solutions, here they are.
Start by plugging both your out put and input in the pool
or simply close the plungers
If you are uncertain the flow sensor is ok then blast it out with the garden hose. Make sure it swings freely
now take out your cartridge and blast it too
now remove your hose from the inlet to the pump
even though you may be skimming and things go in the basket hair still gets through and cloggs up in front of the filter
this also will happen with out a skimmer
Put it all back together and now open the top bleeder on the cartridge cover
open outlet side hose first
when water starts comong out the bleeder open the inlet hose
now turn on pump for 30 seconds and then close the bleeder
This should do it

As for the cloudy it could be as simple as your filter not performing as it should or even maybe high salt with out an alarm

you need to have your salt as close to 3000ppm as possible below 2800ppm and you will not produce enough chlorine and above 3500ppm and you could get cloudy water

Intex pumps do not do a sufficient job

A pool needs turned over 304 times minimum in a cycle
since I do not know your pool or pump I will use generic #'s

If you have a 5000gl pool and a 1500gl ph pump you need to run it at least 10 hours or so to work for you.
use your #'s to calculate filtering for your situation

At this point I would get the filter working and shock the pool with 1 gl
of liquid chlorine to start you out
I would even use a non foaming algaecide every 5-7 days Just follow directions for your gallons of water

hope this helps
Please remeber to rate this solution

No LED

In the manual it states that depending on what type of salt you use, you may have a yellowish tint to the water. What kind of water are you using for the pool? If it's well water you may even more of a discoloration to the water. I'd call Intex directly and see about getting the unit fixed, even if you didn't buy it direct from them they should still be able to help you. Good luck!
