Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100

Can contacts be copied from a blackberry account to a SIM card?

I have two Blackberry devices and a BES. I want to change one of the Blackberry devices (Pearl) to a normal mobile phone however, the SIM card is empty. Can I copy the contacts from either the server or the Pearl onto the SIM card so that a normal mobile phone can read them?

I would use the Desktop Manager to sync your contacts with Outlook. Most newer phones can sync with Outlook. If not, if you take both phones to your service provider's store, they will sync it for you.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

My sim card invalid

The reason that it's showing that your sim card is invalid is because either the sim card has been deactivated already by your service provider, or the most likely cause is that your RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100 is locked to another service provider. The only bypass for this would be to unlock your RIM Blackberry, or to subscribe to the service provider the phone is locked with.

I changed the my phone number with a new SIM. After a hard reset of the device, my blackberry pearl didn't restarted. It apperas the logo of vodafone and it doesn't go over. Please help. Robert Volpi

Hi there, If you are trying to use a SIM card in your phone and getting a message like "Enter Subsidy Code", "Incorrect SIM Card", "SIM not provisioned" or similar messages, then you need an unlock code for your mobile phone. You may visit or contact your service provider Blackberry Pearl Unlock Code they will supply code fast. Or I suggest to visit Blackberry Unlock Code site, they can open up all networks for you where you want to use your phone. Once your phone is unlock, it will work with any network worldwide and don't have to stick with one network only.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks.

Hi,

Do you have a SIM card in your phone ? If yes, there is a problem with it. You have to contact your service provider.

Prepaid Blackberry?

Unfortunately you will not be able to. The pre-paid option only works with select devices and Blackberry is not one of them.
