Try changing the batteries if it is a wireless and make sure you insert them in the correct orientation. Next press the connect button on the reciever and then the connect button on the mouse.

If it's just not blowing the blower could have worn out or something such as a mouse could have gotten in the fan and stopped it.
If the line on the compressor is getting cold then the compressor is working.

My logitech lx8 wireless mouse stoped working.

Maybe some internal component is broken. try to connect the mouse to another computer and see if it works. If not, you should replace it.

Keyboard problem

If they both stopped working at the same then it's probably a problem with the motherboard and not the keyboard or mouse per say.

Regardless we've got to try something, right?

I'd start with removing the keyboard and mouse from the device manager, then restart the computer (without the external mouse and keyboard)

If that doesn't work try updating the bios.

If the model you listed above is correct then the latest version for your laptop is located here:

Best of luck!

I have the Microsoft wireless laser mouse 5000 and it just stoped working on me i was working fine than it just stoped

Make sure that the batteries are good and try pressing the receiver button and then on the bottom of the keyboard press the small button that re-sets and connects the keyboard to the receiver. It then should work properly. Hope this helps. Bud

Wireless mouse all of a suddon stoped working. everything is plugged in fully charged , have tried the connect button along with many others. 7 button centrios laser mouse.

Nice mouse.

I've had some problems with wireless mice in the past, so I will just list the causes and see if one fits the bill for you.

1. Did you move the USB transceiver (this is the device that communicates with the mouse) from one USB port to another? If so, uninstall the mouse and reinstall it using the CD that came with your mouse.

2. Do you have any other wireless devices in the vicinity of your mouse that use a radio frequency rather than infrared, such as a wireless keyboard? If so, you may have a conflict.

3. Were you provided instructions on resetting the RF channel and/or ID code of the mouse? There is a small chance that the channels/codes between the mouse and the transceiver were scrambled and you may need to sync them again.

Hope one of these helps!

Unplug the USB (or PS/2) plug for a couple of seconds and reconnect them. That worked for me when this happened on my older Logitech keyboard.

Mouse wheel stoped scrolliing

I'm assuming the mouse tracking and buttons do work. If you have gone to the extreme of reinstalling the OS as well as the mouse drivers I would next suggest you try connecting the mouse to a new PC. If the problem follows you to the new PC you mouse is damaged and there is literally not much the user can do except: -make sure the bottom of the mouse is clean -Try a different mouse surface; some surfaces don?t react well optically. Try calling Logitech, you may still be in warranty and who knows you may get a nice tech who will work with you to replace it. Never hurts to try.
