How can i make my computer faster???? What should i change motherboard or CPU and the graphic is onboard. Does it mean if i change motherboard then i have to change Graphic Card???

The biggest impact on the speed have adding more RAM and replacing the CPU. Motherboard is replaced when there is no possibility to upgrade CPU and RAM. The onboard graphic also is not very fast but this is seen in games only. For everyday work any video is OK. If the computer is very slow this may be result of viruses, other unnecessary software and even antivirus software. If you replace the motherboard with a one without internal graphic, you will have to buy also a graphic card.

Currently i am using desktop computer celeron 1.7 Ghz which i am thinking to replaced by a P4(2.8 or 3.06) processor on the same motherboard. Apparently there is a voltage difference between 2...

Hello,

If you motherboard will accept the P4 speed you want, you will NOT need to change anything. The board will automatically adjust the voltage when it sense the new cpu. I do recommend you upgrade your power supply that will support the voltage requirement. Most time when vendors build a pc with a low voltage cpu they usually use low voltage power supplies.

Check your motherboard specs, inparticular the voltage requirments and processor that are compatiable with your model board.

Good Luck.

No Signal, No Beep, No POST

Try Replacing CMOS Battery...If you get no power to the motherboard its your power supply. Try reseating everything, processor, ram, video card.
Hope this helps

Graphics

Hello my friend, you need to know that your motherboard supports card in a PCI Express X16 v1.0a that means that you can buy any card you want but the new cards are v2.0-2.1 so maybe will work on your motherboard but your motherboard will limit their bandwidth and probably if you want a new card for gaming you will need and power supply if you have less that 450W.So you understand that changing a graphic card and have good perfomance have a lot of factors(motherboard, powersupply,a good cpu) but if you want just to upgrade your card to a little better without the need change anything else (or if you have a good power supply) i recommend you Radeon HD 4850 For ~$110 or if you looking for something cheaper Radeon HD 4670 For ~$65

Change a hard drive

As a general rule, SATA drive like the DiamondMax Plus 9 160 GB Hard Drive can be made either master or slave by just plugging the drive cable to the appropriate alternative SATA port on the motherboard without changing anything on the drive. MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG THE PC FROM THE MAIN POWER FIRST! Most motherboard will have two such ports on the motherboard in close proximity to each other (just follow the 'flat' usually red or yellow cable from the SATA drive towards the motherboard to locate the ports). Hope it helps.

I changed the CPU fan on Dell dimension 3000 but it does not run.

Dell uses a proprietary fan on it's cpu's. This is more than likely your problem. The motherboard does not recognize the new fan and the motherboard is not powering it on. Without replacing the motherboard you are stuck using dell replacement parts for this model. The motherboard & psu are also proprietary in this model so it would take a whole lot of modification to use anything but Dell replacement parts. Your pc is shutting down due to overheating. Sorry. Hope this helps.

Does asus make a motherboard that u can overclock. have a asus p6t deluxe v2 motherboard...does the rampage 2 motherboard be overclocked without any problems?

Some motherboard manufacturers make there motherboards (MoBo) "Overclock-friendly", and yes Asus does make the motherboards that are in that category. If the one you currently have lack of that feature, you could get third party software but be carefull and read the instructions before you change anything. Besides, take into consideration that you have to have optimal cooling devices for your component such as air cooling or water cooling before you overclok anything in your computer, keep this in mind: overclocking=heat increase

Abit IS7-E2 monitor wont display anything

is this a brand new motherboard?
do you have onboard graphics or a card?
without testing i couldnt say for sure but it sounds like you are not getting power to your graphics on motherboard.
this is usally a common issue for asus motherboards. not easy to fix.
if your motherboard is new i suggest a replacement from the seller.

Motherboard not functioning

If the power supply had a problem then it is likely that the motherboard and/or the CPU got damage from that. I would check the 12V and the 3.3V lines from the PSU.

Without more information I cannot say specifically what the problem is. You can try disconnecting everything from the motherboard except video card, CPU, and RAM to see if it would work that way. If it does then you can start connecting devices until it does not work any more then you have found the problem. If that does not work at all then unplug the video card and RAM see if anything changes (you should get a beep code without the video or RAM). If nothing changes then either the CPU or motherboard is bad and the only way that I know of to find out which one is to either try the CPU in another motherboard or try a different CPU in that motherboard.
