Question about Sylvania 6615LE LCD HDTV
4250 Scientific Atlanta Cablevision cable box and Philips Full HD 1080p LCD TV model 32PFL6704D/F7 will allow for Universal Remote UR2-CBL-CV02 to control volume ONLY via YPbPr but not HDMI v1.3 setup. I tried all TV codes listed at www.universalremote.com for this set. I want to use HDMI for best quality picture. I feel like a lobster using two remotes. I contacted Cablevision and after troubleshooting was referred to universalremote.com the mfg. and I left an e-mail there. I've already tried a new remote and I will try to change the HDMI cable (purchased top of the line 24k triple insulated & sheathed), but I truly believe going forward new codes need to be created for New Technology HDMI by Universal Remote Control, Inc. for Scientifc Atlanta Cablevision set top boxes but I'll await a response.

There is no code!!! -- Solution...You have to buy a universal remote with learning capabilities. I’ve ordered one that will not only learn off other remotes but can handle 10 components also. I got it from 10x it’s called the iconRemote control…if you call the company they will give you a discount (but you have to call them and ask) AWESOME!

there are different codes for the devices that you are using. When you want to insert the code for the tv. > Switch tv on and then switch all the other devices off. Insert code. For digi box > switch on and all other devices off. Insert code for digibox. You must then switch between tv and digi box using the buttons on the top of the remote. Toggle between tv/ digi box.
Have a go with the codes below with the tv and the digibox both on, you never know you might get lucky as these are new codes, if not revert back to 1st solution.
Universal Codes (both should work using these, i think!!!!! try 'em)
Here are the codes for the 1st solution.

SOURCE: What universal remote code do
The reality is that almost everyone ends up using two remotes. One to turn the tv on and off plus adjust the volume plus the second remote to change channels within cablevision.
Call cable vision and complain. They could upgrade your remote if they chose to so u could do it all on one remote. Hope this explanation helps you. Joe
