Games wont play

When i put in the game, it just comes up as open tray, when open it, it says close tray. So i closed the tray and it says "reading disc". Then it just keeps repeating that process. What is wrong and what do i have to do?

At any point in time, did you get a possible SINGLE red light on the console? Usually when the console is having difficulty, it can usually mean things like the laser/disk is dirty. The disk could be scratched. Also if you got a single red light, thats usually an indication of a single hardware failure (possibly the dvd-rom drive). do you have your console upright or on its side? have you tried cleaning/dusting your console?

Is the game badly scratched/damaged? This is the most common cause of getting the constant reading disc message.

Check if theres anything blocking the disc drive.If that doesn't work each game has a warranty.
