Re: Frozen screen

Hello :-) i just talked to another person who was having the same problem as you. And guess what?? the same problem happened to me on my IPAQ 4350. It turned out when I would hard reset my IPAQ it asked me to align the screen but it wouldn't move and it would freeze and not let me pass . But I later found out that my screen was damaged and I got a new touch screen installed and my IPAQ works perfect :-). I would recommend for you to do the same and call HP and see if they could install it for you. Thanks :-}

My screen is totally frozen..cannot move it at all..was working yesterday, then the battery went dead (I was out) and then I charged it up - since then is totally frozen.

You can try to charge it up again for about 30 minutes and try a reset, here's how:

For soft reset type *#7780#

For hard reset type *#7370#

and if it ask passcode enter the passcode as 12345 as default.

Note: Please backup all your dataif you performing hard reset because hard reset deletes all data on your phone including
contacts music and pictures.

Palm T3 frozen, tried restart in hole, nothing?

Doing a soft reset A soft reset tells your handheld to stop what it's doing and start over again. None of your information will be lost. After a soft reset, a screen appears that lets you reset the date and time, if needed. To do a soft reset, use the tip of an unfolded paper clip (or similar object without a sharp tip) to gently press the reset button inside the hole on the back panel of your handheld.
If a soft reset does not unfreeze your handheld, you need to do a hard reset. Doing a hard reset Only do a hard reset if a soft reset doesn't solve your problem, or if you want to clear all of your information from your handheld. [!] IMPORTANT A hard reset deletes all records and entries stored on your handheld, including the username that identifies the handheld. Before you do a hard reset, be sure to synchronize.

T5 is frozen on the "Palm Powered" screen

Remove the battery and let the palm sit for a day, reconnect the battery and do a hard reset. To remove the battery, you need a Torx T5 screwdriver. Carefully remove the cover making a note of the location of all the buttons in the case. The battery is connected by a mini 2 pin connector, just disconnect the battery by gently wiggling the connector and pulling.

My e2 frozen on the palm powered logo

Okay here it goes, your going to want to leave it on for however many hours it takes to completely drain the battery then you're going to want to recharge it back to normal charge, and try restarting it again. This will delete completely anything that is keeping it from restarting properly. If you did open up the machine without following "antistatic procedure" you may have fried a component on the board and then your in trouble
you'll need to salvage a board from another tungsten and put it back in your PDA and hope you put it back together right

Samsung i730 is frozen at align screen

I don't have the solution, but this is directed to "Guest" (that posted on Nov. 3, 2007.): I don't think you'd want to call Verizon because they're simply the carrier for the network. Samsung made the phone, so even though it says "Verizon Wireless" on the phone, the people you should contact would be from Samsung. Samsung would know more about the techical details of the i730, since they manufactered it. Sorry this is so long......
