Question about Braun MR 5550 M HC + BC MultiQuick Professional Handheld Blender

1 Answer

Spere parts I'm looking for the spare lids for both HC & BC. They are brkoen: plastic notched shafts are cracked and sealed, preventing any rotation in gearing. Do you distribute these spares or will you provide me with the useful links to get substitutes for my Blender? Thank you,Elena.

The site that sells the parts is only available in the States and Canada, not in the UK and Europe.

I'd be tempted to try the smallest amount of olive oil, applied with a paper towel to both surfaced worked into threads. You need very very little. Alternatively get some different jars!
You can get food safe grease but it's very expensive and usually used industrially

My Braun MR5500BC Multiquick professional handblender is now not working but I still do have all the accessories still intact. Is it possible to buy the motor part of the blender only?

I have a Braun Vario Model 418 hand processor - motor works fine but when attached to the blender, the blender shaft vibrates - if you look into the inside of the blender, the shaft is shaking - may be some support is missing. Can any one advise what can be done.

Those small plastig bungs do come out, you will need a fine probe to prise them out then you will see 2 philips head screws which hold it all together, not sure how you will tighten your shaft though, looks like it might be moulded into the plastic retainer, good luck! on mine the motor bearings are seized,

Krups 243 blender clutch wheel

These little jewels are threaded onto the motor shaft so they tighten up when in operation. To remove, you will have to immobilize the motor shaft. See if you can insert an icepick or screwdriver into the blades of the motor fan on the bottom. Then using a punch and hammer, gently tap the clutch disk in the direction opposite from its normal rotation.

BE CAREFUL not to use so much force that you break either the clutch disk or the motor fan blade.
