Problem for Dell Latitude D620 (D620SINGLE) PC Notebook
Windows Xp, changed graphics after prob, now can't boot past xp s
I was having constant freeze-up problem with an error about NVDIA. I disabled this. This led to other problems. I did something to try to adjust back. When I shut down and then reopened I can't reboot past the Windows XP screen. After Dell, then Windows XP, all I get is a black screen. I can't even boot in Safe Mode. I've tried booting in every mode available in F8 and no go.

- I don't have that available right now...the OS CD. I know once I take the laptop into work it's a gonner, to the IT guys, then I won't see it again for a couple of weeks. I was trying to not go that route.Solution #1

your efforts were in right directions. Now to get back your display you require your os cd. boot throug it. click enter when it asks for repair option for the first time. type r when it gives u second option. this will solve your problem.

- Atleast you can purchase one blank cd and ask your IT guys to give you a copy of your os and product key. It will not only help you now but for future use also if it takes even 02 days that would be worth it. Or else ask any IT kids from your neighbour they deffinetly would be having that.Yes
