Problem for Nikon D70s Digital Camera with 18-70mm Lens

LCD sometime white after photo

Sometimes After taking a photo the LCD is whited out. The photo is OK but I am unable to review the photo. Sometimes shutting it off and turning it back on will clear it for a while but the white screen returns.

Yes, the battery is fully charged.

- No and with a street value for a good used one around $200 that won't be an option. Wondering if putting a new LCD screen in it would be worth it. The part is only around $40.
