Question about Toshiba 46H83 46" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I have a sony 51 rear projection tv. When the color is just right, there appears a wavey line in the image. Almost as if a spider web, or at least a strand of it, is settting on the back of the screen or on one of the lenses.
Does not impact the color or the picture, but one you see it, it becomes very obvious
This could be a contaminant inside one of the lenses, or possibly spider webs inside the tv.. This is a very common problem. Remove the back of the tv, you will be able to look around the back of the screen with a flashlight and see if there are any spiderwebs. at this time you should also clean your lenses and mirror with some glass cleaner . this will improve your picture as well.
