Thanks. The printer did not come with an instruction book. In the meantime I printed one out from some site and there was the (your) solution.

    Many thanks

PAPER KEEPS JAMMING WHEN TRYING TO PRINT

Sometimes there is either a peice of paper left from tue first jam, or like i found in my daughters, S printers dried raisin blocking the paper, so make sure NOTHING is in the way inside the printer, if you have to turn it upside down and shake it to see if you hear something rateling in it

I am receiving a message, "paper jam", yet there is none. At the same time, It goes to sleep. How do I get it to awaken? Any assistance is appreciated.

LOL, I know it isn't funny but it sounded funny. There is probably a small particle of paper stuck inside it, and that little peice of paper is telling the machine to sleep until the paper is removed. Try spraying some keyboard cleaner where the paper goes in and where the paper goes out.

Printer takes in paper then fails to print and reports a jam.

Hi
If it keep saying paper jam Then it maybe just that you may not see any paper in it but it only takes a very small bit of paper that stopping it or I would take a closer look inside, you may have had a paper jam before and it has left a small nit inside. All Best: Pineworks

The orange down arrow light keeps blinking. what's wrong?

This means that either the printer is out of paper or there is a paper jam.

Try to check all feeds for a paper jam. Once the jam is cleared your printer should resume printing again.

Sometimes even a small peice of paper can cause the printer jam

I have a HP OFficjet 7210 All-in-one that keeps jamming.

Clean the pickup rollers and ensure that there isn't a small peice of paper lodged between them. I use a product called "rubber renew", it removes the dust, dirt, etc. and eats away someof the rubber to make it rough again.
