Hotpoint microwave key pad parcially not working

The pads actually share some of the same lines inside the touch pad. There are silver oxide traces inside there. If a trace inside breaks, it depends on which trace breaks as to what pads dont work. If a trace that is common to say pads 1,3,5,7 you would lose function of those pads. 1.....2.....3.....4......5....... it is sort of set up like that inside wher eone connects to another and so on. So lets say a line between 2 and 3 breaks then you would lose pads 3, 4, 5 and any others on that same line. Will have to replace touch pad, cannot repair.

The touch pad was working and now all of a sudden its not

Check your model for a mouse pad disable key. A lot of times it is right above the mouse pad (and is easily bumped) or a function key. It generally looks like a symbol of two mousepads with the second one having a line drawn through it.

Try pressing this button or holding in the Fn key (lower left hand corner) and pressing the function key and see if that resolves your issue.

If not make sure mouse drivers are installed and working properly.

If none of this helps, please post your model and Windows version.

Please leave feedback if this was helpful.

have you ajusted the door catch pin to the corect position and does the door line up you might have to ajust the hinges to level the door properly

check the door lines make sure it hits the pin in the right spot if not grab the pin and loosen it with a pair of vise grips and ajust up down or in and out if required

if it is the hinges loosen the botom and top and slide th hinges eithor way remember to ajust 1 hinge at a time onlt loosen 1 hinge at a time if door needs to go up loosen the botom hinge slightly and pull up on back of door when it's almost closed then open door and tighten botom hinge
if too high try loosening it then push down on the back of door
