My problem is how to put the door back on, not how to remove it. The hinges are just fine.

If your oven door has gotten bent or warped (maybe you rested something heavy on it…), you need to remove the door, disassemble it, and straighten it. You can lift most oven doors off of their hinges by opening the door several inches to its first "stop," and lifting the entire door straight up.

If the hinges have become worn, damaged, or bent, you probably need to replace them. We recommend replacing both hinges at the same time, to prevent uneven wear of the undamaged hinge.

    Much of the
wiring for an electric range/oven is on the back of the appliance. The
steel panels that cover the wiring protect both you and the wiring.
Other components--such as relays, self-cleaning switches, transformers,
and terminal blocks--are also behind the protective back panels.

SOME HINGES HAVE A HOLE THROUGH THEM TO LOCK THE HINGE IN THE "BROIL
STOP POSITION" THAT WILL MAKE IT ALOT EASIER TO REINSTALL THE DOOR.
SOME HINGES HAVE A BUILT IN LEVER THAT YOU FOLD INTO THE JOINT OF THE
HINGE, LOCKING IT IN PLACE. IF THE HINGE CAME OFF WITH THE DOOR, THERE
ARE TWO PINS THAT THE HINGE HAS TO HOOK BACK OVER WHEN INSERTED INTO
THE HOLES IN THE FRONT OF THE RANGE. FIND THE CORRECT ANGLE TO ENGAGE
    THE HINGES CORRECTLY.

IF THE HINGES ARE ATTACHED TO THE RANGE, PULL THEM OPEN TO THE BROIL
STOP POSITION. THEY NORMALLY WILL HANG IN THAT POSITION. USE YOUR KNEE
TO SUPPORT THE DOOR AS YOU SLIDE IT BACK OVER THE HINGES.

If you merely lifted it up off the two spring loaded supports, you
should only need to slide it back into the bottom of the door...You may
need to use pliers to move the supports into a horizontal position
(normallaly open position). If you actually removed the supports from
the springs...it will be very hard to replace, because the springs are
    hidden.

had a similar problem and tried simlar fixes. Spraying the chain, the
rollers, the track with silicon based lubricant did not good for my
problem. My wife then listened carefully from where the squeak was
coming. It was coming from the hinged in the actual door, the hinge
like parts that allow the door to roll up. After we sprayed all of
them, the sound just went back to the normal electrical / mechanical
sound of the door opening and closing. I am sure our neighbors are
happy too after 6 months of (very) early openings. Hope this he

remove the oven door by pulling it up and removing from the the hinges. If glass is broken , then secure glass with tape. Have a table with a cloth on top ready to lay the door.
2 Remove the outer screws , starting from lower side of the panel.
    3
Remove the inner screws. Keep all set of screws ordered, and take note
of the order you remove them. You will follow reverse order in
    reassembly.
4 the frame will be free now,
5 Remove the external glass panel and leave it in a safe place.
    6 Replace the inner glass.
7 Clean outer glass and metal door, re-assemble it and mount it back

Hi there,

There should be a hole in it to where you can slide a nail or a screw through to hold the hinge open so you can put it back on

Good Luck!!
Thanks

It is a two person job unless you want to pull the whole stove out and take the cover off and then remove the springs. Put the door back on and put the springs back and the put the cover back on.

Hi, I have a Lofra Model 51440401 MG 96 GG/Cn.

Have the hinges and springs definitely gone? I only ask because Lofra oven doors have a reasonably awkward fitting method. If you don't get the anti rotation hooks sorted out correctly. There is a manual online that may help. http://www.lofra.it/manuali/manualeITA_ING.pdf you would need to check page 44 of this pdf file to just see what I mean. Other than that I have not seen these as spares anywhere, So I apologise if I have wasted your time.

Oven door won't go back on

well there is one where u have to put a pin through the hinge to lock it in a certain place to remove and reinstall it..kinda tricky. locks it in the semi-open position. others have pieces that swivel down to lock the hinge in that position for removal and reinstall. it's not easy if you've never done it. :)

Kenmore ceramic top electric stove door problem

For a while, they were building Kenmore stoves with hinges that get bent out of shape easily. If your stove is still in warranty, (I'm sorry to say) call the 800 number for a repair. You can get a Saturday appointment if you're persistent enough.
If not in warranty, the hinge kit should still fix it, and the parts are about $45.00 for both, and they come with instructions. It took me about an hour the first time, but I've got it down to 25 mins. You'll need a square drive bit, and beware of the very sharp metal edges.
If you have a warming drawer in the bottom, it's more difficult. In this case, removing the drawer is harder. And after getting the drawer out, the metal liner along the sides of the drawer have to be loosened in the front and bent inward out of the way. Don't worry, they go right back with no trouble.
If you decide to pay someone to do the work, please call a local company.

Good luck!
