take the capacitor to a electric motor repair shop along with the details of the electric motor ( hp ,watts. phase current ,amps etc ) and they will be able to match it
I would blanket change the power supply if it isn't working. The electrolyte is conductive and will do an awful lot of damage. By your description "400v" I presume you mean the main smoothing capacitor, in which case the power supply has been drawing excessive current to make the capacitor leak so I would look next at the line output section. Hope that helps.
Hello
Vertical shrinking means lack of height we thinks. If there is a height problem for philips tv, surely some of the philips electrolytic capacitors should be replaced. Most of the electrolytic capacitors made by philips shows either a slight leak or lack in capacity after some years or days after use. When replacing them make sure to select other brands of same capacity and voltage ratings. If this doesn't help, get into the service mode of that tv and adjust "VH" and "VLI" functions, if you knows the service mode code. If you don't know it, please get assistance of a technician.
The Philips Plasma TV have a problem with electrolytic capacitors going bad. I believe you heated some capacitors and your problem may return. If so, try replacing 2540 (100ufd@25v)
and 2508 (4.7ufd@50V).
