Question about Casio DL 250LA Calculator

Re: Won't work

The problem is with printer. It is either a gear alignment is needed or the printer detector is already defective. There is also a case that an I.C. for the printer on its mainboard is defective. The best solution is to contact your authorized service center on your area.

Nothing of the sort. Just locate the EE key. You access it by pressing [2nd][x^-1]. It is the one below the [sin] function key.

To enter Avogadro's number

Key in

6.02 [2nd][x^-1] 23 [=/Enter]

If you divide by that number just enclose it between parentheses to ensure correct calculation.

You can also enter it as described 4 lines above, press the = key. The number will be displayed. To divide by it, press the [x^-1] key and its reciprocal will be displayed ready to be multiplied.

Press SHIFT [MODE] to bring up the mode screen. Press 8 for NORM, then 2.

Bear in mind that if the magnitude of the number is too large or too small the calculator will switch to scientific notation anyway. For example, if a number has twenty leading zeros then it won't fit on the display unless it displays it as a power of ten to the negative twenty.

Hello,

If a number is displayed as a fraction or a radical (square root or other roots) you change it into a decimal number by pressing the [S<=>D] key, just above the red [DEL] key.

If you do not care for fractions or radicals, you configure your calculator to display only decimals. To do that you press [SHIFT][MODE][2:LineIO].

Warning: If you do that you will not be able to enter fractions or radicals in the natural (textbook display)

Another way to display a fraction or a radical as a decimal is to press [SHIFT][=] to get the result not the [=] alone.

Hope it helps.

How to change the roller ribbon on my Canon P100-dh calculator?

The ac key is you power on key. As far as not being able to input any numbers, make sure there is not a key that is stuck down or depressed. if so try to lift is up and you should be ok. Unless there was a liquid spill. In that case, cheaper to buy a new one.

Make sure there is not a key stuck in the depressed state. If so try to pull it back up and you should be set. If the machine had a liquid spill this could cause that type of error too. In which case the machine is junk.
