The water inlet valve needs replacing.
Over time they lose tension on the spring and the seal wears out cause the inlet valve to constantly let water in.
Hope this helps!?

My maytag has error f 28

F28 is a communications fault between control boards. Before throwing money at it, check all wire harness connections. Make sure they are clean and tight. Check for oxidation on the gold terminals. Remove the connectors and put them back on 4-5 times to clean the terminals. Recheck the machine operation.

Door will not unlock

Press the start/pause pad to stop the machine. • It may take a few moments for the door lock mechanism to disengage.

If that doesn't work, try unplugging the machine for a few moment. door lock should disengage

Wash machine model mav 7600, started making tremendous noise, first in spin cycle only and then in wash cycle also. After running a few loads with the noise the machine just stoped running....

This sounds like collapsed/broken drum bearings. Check for movement between inner and outer drum. Also rotating the drum by hand will be hard (or immpossible), and noisy. It could be the motor and belt, but most times it is bearings.

Low watter on wash cycle is there a setting to add more watter to the wash cycle

Try checking the pressure switch. If adjustments are there try. Otherwise you have to check with another switch assy.

Try cleaning the small water hose connected to the switch assembley body.

Watter likage from underneeth

leakage underneath can (pump) front boot ) and maybe the rear drum seal . I would not use till cked it may get the electronic controller wet if the boot has failed .and they cost big bucks. the front will have to be removed for this . (open door remove 4 screw's in hinge and side then pull out on the top corners /tilt to 30 deg and lift off .. ****.
