Problem for Nokia 9300 Smartphone

Nokia 9300i not connecting/pairing with Plantronics 220 headset

HI, I read the manual, re-read the manual, tried everything I can. My phone will not pair with my wireless Plantronics headset. It works with my el cheapo other Nokia but will not detect this headset.
Please help!!

- Hi, it does not even ask me for a code - just says device not found, am sooooo frustrated.

when pairing with wireless headset enter 0000 as the code or 00000 as code and it should work.
