Question about Coby MP-705 Digital Media Player
I have not been able to find out how to create a playlist for a set of music I uploaded to my Coby MP705-4g. I just want a simple one way playlist that keeps the music in the order I put it in. When I look at the folder in Windows XP, the files are listed in alpha order (bad), so I renamed the files with numbers at the beginning to force them to be in the right order. But looking at the files in the folder on the Coby, they are in random order (bad). I just want them to play in proper sequence. I even tried to create m3u and pls playlist files but the Coby did not recognize them (bad). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hello Simone, the interesting thing about the Coby MP705 is that the company decided not to reinvent the technology that already exist, but to use the Windows technology. The best way of creating a playlist is by first connecting your MP3 player to your computer. After the computer recognizes the mp3 player double click “my computer” after that double click on the icon that shows “Coby MP705” and if “internal storage” appears also double click that icon. You should now see a series of folders double click the music folder. All your music folders will now appear. Go on any music folder and right click it. You will see an option half way down that say “create playlist” by selecting this option you create that folder as a playlist. If you want to make a playlist with a compilation of assorted music you must first create a folder with all the music you would like in that playlist then follow the instructions on how to create a playlist hope this helps.
