The lock key is located at the at the very top of the unit, on the left hand side as facing. This is a very frequently asked question, and not a very good design element on the BlackBerry Storm.

Look at the top right hand side of the keyboard. See if the NUMB LOCK and FUNCTION LOCK keys are lit. If one or both are lit hit the key to unlock it.

Pressing the WINDOWS KEY and the letter U will bring up ease of access window. Down the list you'll see use without keyboard and mouse. Click there and make sure it is not check marked. You may also need to turn off STICKY KEYS and FILTER KEYS and hit save to unlock it.

Try pressing the WINDOWS KEY and the letter L at the same time and see if that doesn't unlock it. If that locks it instead of unlocking it press it again to unlock it.

If none of these fixes the problem then UNPLUG the laptop from the adaptor. Turn it upside down and remove the battery. Wait one minute then put the battery back in. Reconnect the power supply and reboot the machine.

Chubb lock stuck in lock position key turns in lock but nothing happens

this happens because, either a stuck ball in the lock is not falling out of the way and not releasing the shackle or the tail end of the cylinder has broke. there are a couple things to try and get the shackle to release --- first, spray some lubrication into the top of the lock around the shackle area and also in the key hole,, let this sit for a few minutes and try the key again. if it still will not unlock - try to turn the key AND at the same time smack the side of the lock with a hammer and see if you can get the shackle to free itself that way. since you will not know what side is which -- try to hit the lock from both sides ( make sure you hold the key in the unlock position while smacking it ). also -- with the key turned, kinda push in and pull out WITH great force the shackle and see if this frees it up. if none of these tricks work you are going to have to grind off with a grinder.

2005 Chevrolet Silverado Automatic door locks

I assume you mean that the central locking system will not lock the doors but you can do so manually.

Get inside the vehicle and close all doors.

On each rear door, lock and unlock the mechanism manually a couple of times. In other words do not use the key pad.

Then leave both rear doors in the locked position (manual locking) and operate the lock button on you key pad to operate the central locking system. Wait a few seconds then hit unlock on your key pad and a few seconds later hit lock on your key pad.

If the system fails to lock your rear doors you will need to get the vehicle to an auto electrician to check out the issue and rectify it for you. There are a number of possible causes which cannot be identified without physically checking the system. So you will need to have this rectified by a professional.

Automatic door locks will not lock rear doors, they open fine when manually locked but will not lock with switch key fob or when put in gear.

The Mx310 will not power on. We had a few bad storms this week but the mx310 is on a surge protected outlet.

Those surge protectors are not really a good protection in heavy storms which means that the power unit did get damahged and therefore you may have to try and obtain a new power unit ... mybe try another unit that you are sure about its working condition to prove the problem. It may even be the printer itself the got damaged
