Have a 2003 Monte Carlo SS. Usually happens when I first start the car. The cruise control light comes on in dashboard at the same time the air, heat and defrost won't work. After a few minutes everything works normal or sometimes when you restart car.

Most of the newer cars especially the new chevys are all ran off the bcm or body control module, i would have someone with a snap-on brand tester check to bcm and the parts of your car first to make sure what is all wrong, could just be a shorted wire or a broken vacuum hose

I have a 2003 Monte Carlo SS and it has climate control. The problem is the heat stays on all the time on the drivers side even when you push the heat lever all the way down to cold and have the a/c on....

Your heat cold damper is not closing. Actuator could be sticking or bad. Or some of the foam has come loose on the damper seal. Have seen leaves in the system causing obstruction. The problem is most vehicles require dash removal to fix the problem.

How much does it cost to fix cruise control on a 2003 chevy monte carlo ss?

this depends on whats wrong with the cruise control if its just a fuse then it will be relatively cheap if its the servo itll be a little more expensive but not extremely outrageous should be around $100 or less give a take a few dollars.

2003 Monte Carlo SS Hesitates and Dies after running for awhile

The ck engine light should not be ignored, what sensor was shown to be bad ? Have it scanned again and replace the sensor that is bad if it still runs rough you might want to consider a tune up. Plugs, wires, fuel and air filter's and clean the throttle body with some gumout. It could also be the IAC motor Idle Air Control. Good Luck

Cruise control light on dash

Sounds like a voltage problem. Have Charging, Starting , and battery system load tested.
