Hi there,

It seems like Drive motor

Many washer brands use a reversing motor. For agitation the motor runs in one direction, for spinning and draining, the other. It's possible for a motor to burn out in one direction and continue to operate in the other, It also cause over overfilling. If this happens, you need to replace the entire motor.

Good Luck!!
Thanks

Need to know the error code to help you. When it beeps, take note of the top row of lights & count from right to left. Tell me exactly which lights are on & which are off. Also, tell me if any other lights are blinking. The only thing the tiler would of disconnected are the inlet water hoses. Check that the hose from the cold tap is on the cold inlet & hot tap is on the hot inlet. Marked C & H on back of panel.

GE WPRE8100 washer starts to fill and immediately shuts off

I would suspect the washer control panel or timer is the problem.

Won't stop filling. When I go through the cycles it continues to fill until I reach the final spin cycle then it will start draining and spin out.

Two common problems for this simptom:

If water stops filling when you disconnect the washer:
Change the pressure switch.
If water keeps coming in after you disconnect the washer:
Change the water valve.

GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND

Bosch SHU3036UC/U11 dishwasher does not stop filling with water

Hi,
It sounds as if the main program board has developed a fault - as it should come to a complete stop. The fact it kept the water valve open with the door open is a serious fault- so I would have it checked before using it again.

Most machines have a water-stop feature - so if it develops a leak - it will shut off the water. This clearly didn't happen.

Drain pump starts and stops prior to final spin cycle

Jayron, is the motor jogging? start to spin, stop, start to spin stop. If so, your motor is jogging between the high and low start windings. The motor during spin should start on the high speed windings and stay there until most of the water is drained. GE came out with a new motor, harness and run cap because of this. If you have a meter, there should be a white and white/red wire going to the motor. If you have a steady 120V and it's doing this jogging, replace the motor with the kit...Let me know if this the issue, Catriver..post back.
