Try to reinstall your sound driver and using your motherboard driver. Then after you finished installing the sound card test it. Also update you antivirus so that it can protect your system against the viruses and worms including hackers as well

Video playback no longer has audio

Sometimes the Codec needed to play video and audio gets damaged and needs to be replaced. You can do this by downloading the K-Lite Codec pack. Just search the web for it. But be very careful some of the sites offering this free thing are full of spam. When downloading always use the advanced options otherwise it could change your browser or add software and spyware that you don't want. Make certain your virus checker is up-to-date before downloading.

Sir i am not getting any audio ...I have deleted audio codecs, video codecs everything related to audio in device manager..so what to do now??

You have to be more specific, what made you uninstall all this? what happened (changed) when the problem arrived? did you checked for viruses? did you re-installed everything you uninstalled?, I would try updating your sound card driver, update your antivirus, than scan the computer for viruses...

Good luck!

REQUIRED VIDEO DRIVER SOFTWARE FOR ABOVE LAPTOP . 1. NO VIDEO WHILE PLAYING DVD ON WINDOW MEDIA ONLY AUDIO. 2. IN POWER DVD OR VLC MEDIA PLAYER, VIDEO AND AUDIO IS IS NOT PLAYING SMOOTHLY AS NORMAL BUT...

1. It seems to be codec problem . Download K-Lite Mega Pack and install it. Then try playing the movie in windows media player classic that comes with k lite mega codec pack.
2. check your system for trojan , virus or any program that is using system resources. Often Video problems are caused by insufficient resources available by video/audio decoders.
3. System stand by could be missing because your bios settings dont allow it. Enter the BIOS and reset settings to default.

Screen goes blank

Video on a computer is comprised of two components, known as codecs. The audio codec decodes the audio, and the video codec decodes the sound. If one of these codecs is missing or corrupted, then either the sound or the video won't work. I'm surprised it's happening with youtube since their video is quite a generic format. If you can get hold of a file where this happens, there is a utility called GSpot which takes the file and tries to render it, reporting detailed failures where a codec is not working or not found. Try running your piece of video through that and googling the results, you will likely be able to find a codec that fixes your problem.
