Question about Magic Chef 31000 Gas Kitchen Range
WHY WHEN I TURN ON THE OVEN TO BAKE DONT WORK IT EGNITER GOSE ON BUT DOSENT CACH ON FIRE THE GAS BAR AND THE BROIL DOSE WORK BUT NOT THE BAKE
If you are having problems with the bake feature not lighting or taking longer than usual to ignite, you may have an oven igniter going bad. The following link explains:
The gas for both oven manifolds is fed through the same source. Barring a problem with the oven control board, you more than likely have an ignitor on the bake manifold failing or has become weak. The bake feature tends to fail more often due to the frequency of use.
