Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
I just purchased an Xbox 360 Pro 60GB today. Less than an hour after setting it up it will no longer work. When I first plugged everything in I inserted a game to test it, it worked fine. I even checked to make sure DVDs worked and they were just fine. Then I decided to register it online and approved the "update." After that it wouldn't read any disk of any kind. It just gave me the "open tray" option. I tried opening and closing the tray many times, giving it over a half hour to load. Brand new and it's already giving me problems! Hopefully Game Stop will let me exchange it.
That laser or drive in the unit needs to be replaced but gamestop won't do it there and give the unit back to you. They will just get you another unit, hopefully it won't be a refurbished unit and it will be a new one.
