The color red and especially red colored lines or a pinkish hue are indicative of an impending screen failure. The only other possibility is that the data cable on the left backside of the lcd panel may be loose at the socket or on the motherboard. 9 times out of 10 though, it is the lcd panel that it failing.
It's either one of these things is dying: Your Screen, or Your video card You can find out which by hooking your computer up to an external monitor, and if the lines appear on it, then it's your video card. If not, then it's your screen dying. And so you can either get a new screen, or a new computer.
Can you connect your laptop into another computer screen? See if that works. If so, then your screen is going bad. I would not recommend replacing the screen unless you are a harware expert. If the lines are still there try booting into VGA mode by pressing F8 at first startup. You might have a failing video card or corrupt drivers.
The line of color is due to a failure in the vertical circuit. The main suspects are the vertical Ic AN15525A and/or capacitor c308 220uf@35volts If you have the capacity to do so, you should check the other electrolytic capacitors in the vertical circuit which are USUALLY located near the vertical IC in most cases you can purchase the part at https://www.encompassparts.com/webwiz/wwiz.asp?wwizmstr=WEB.SEE&partnumber=5760279&smodel=CT32SL15N or mcm electronics
