Our Franklin Chef FIM70 keeps freezing up help please

    No help the machine acts like its going to make cubes but then ends up freezing one huge slab of ice.

What temperature is the ambient air?
Mine froze up if the ambient temperature was less than 70 degrees F.

Franklin chef ice maker fim70 finished running cleaning cycle. have cleaned plugs, lines, on rear and sprayer inside bin. water continues to run, ice forms on top (w/ frost). Ice never drops.


Hello

Ice may jam up in an ice dam and close off the chute. Shove the ice scoop up into the chute with a fair amount of force to break up the ice dam. Chunks of ice should fall into the bin, followed by a shower of ice cubes.

Our FIM90 will not make ice. it worked when we got it and since then only produces cold water


Is your circulating fan working?
Sometimes they stick and need a shot of WD 40 and then work
it back and forth a little until it wants to take off again. Keep me informed
