SOURCE: Monster Cable iTV Link to IPOD Classsic 80Gg

It is my understanding that the iPOD Classic utilizes some new video chip technology that makes the monster cable incompatible with the Classic range. My monster cable worked with the 80gb iPOD video, but not with my 160gb Classic. I bought the Apple composite video cable and it worked fine. Go figure.

How is ipod connected to bluetooth?

A Bluetooth transmitter (or radio) is hardware and is built into a Bluetooth-enabled product during the manufacture.of that device. A Bluetooth-enabled device can connect to another Bluetooth-enabled device to establish communication between them, but there is no Bluetooth network, the way there are wireless (WiFi) networks to which a WiFI-enabled device can connect. Bluetooth is short-distance (33 feet/10 meters between the Bluetooth devices) method of wireless communication.

Hope this helps.

IPod Classic won't play video with AV Component Cable

I have the exact same problem, having previously tried the component cables. I called tech support who stated that my ipod classic must have some sort of hardware malfunction when otherwise fully functional. I can get sound through the RCA cables, but no video. What gives?

I have a 120 gig classic ipod, and i have 3 white

It is probably a short in the connector inside the unit going from the screen to the circuit board. You can replace the screen yourself, just have to do some google searching. Also, if you wanted to connect your Ipod to a TV, you can plug an RCA cable into the sound port. You have to have the cable that has three prongs on one end (yellow for video, red & white for sound), the other end of this cable is a 3.5" (headphone) audio plug. Classic iPods export video data from the sound headphone jack!

I also have the same problem but now I think it's the type of I-Pod you use. Do you use the I-Pod 80 Gb video or the newer 160 Gb I-Pod with the cover flow etc. ? The documention of the HTD7001 says it's only support some I-Pods. I would know sure if I would have a type of Video I Pod wich is supported by the documentation

I do have the same problem and I am in process to send a Help Request either to MAC IPOD and/or Philps to get together and offer an solution.
