The oven will not turn off on my whirlpool stove

I was using the oven and all of a sudden the oven went up to max heat and it will not turn off. The stove top is working fine but the oven will not turn off. I had to unplugg the stove. What's happening? What can I do?

The control could be faulty.
Also check the CAPILLARY , which is a copper tube in the oven, about 100mm long, it should be clipped to the side or roof, or back, of the oven.
If it out of place temperaures may be uncontollable.

perhaps you turned on the oven timer when you were turning on the rings and it hit time and went off. Some people use the timer for such things as boiling eggs (set to 3 minutes)

GAS OVEN KNOB STUCK

The valve is 'seized'. Grease gets into them and over time turns acidic corroding the valve from the inside out. Replace the valve. Any appliance parts seller can get it for you. Turn off the gas before starting repairs!

I own FRIGIDAIRE ES100/105 (electric stove and oven). Yesterday I was using the oven and suddenly I heard a loud sound. I went to check it I found out the both the oven and stove were off. And not working....

HI. The actual issue will be with the main logic board, which is where the main element control relays are mounted. These very important relays are damaged. The main board will need to be replaced, asap.

With that said, if you could be so kind; Please post the entire model number so that i may pull up all necessary part numbers needed, as well as, service manual links and diagrams to help with your repair.

Oven won't heat, display out, gas burners on stove

Hello, you will probably need to pull it out and put it on something. Make sure the breaker is off to it before you test it. There is a thermostat in the very back that could be bad, check for continuity on that. Also check for continuity on the bake and broil element terminals itself, even though you have checked it to ground. If those check good, then the problems is in the control board.
Thanks

My oven broiler does not seem to be working-I turned it on broil for about 15 minutes - no heat, nothing. On normal bake, it takes about a half hour to heat the oven to 350 degrees - my old stove took...

check the bake (lower) element, mine just went out. It was easy to spot the problem once I pulled the element out, the wire had burnt off the end. Please remember to turn the power off first.
