Cannot succefully connect my hp compaq nc6000 to tv

You can't restore a compaq nc6000 unless you have the xp disk.In 7 and 8 its much easier to do this, All newer computers have a separate partition with the factory programs in it,This was not an option in xp or older computers.you will have to re-install windows and get all the drivers and software from the HP website.I hope this was helpful
For HP you have to hit F11 when you first start up your computer..

In the first instance you need to check your power lead. Exchange it for another one that you know works.

REmove and clean the memory and place it back.. then try.

Hi, it may be that your touchpad its turned off, HPs and Compaqs have a small button atop the touchpad to turn it on or off, this is for people who find it annoying when typing. If is not that it may the driver, you can find it in the hp site.

no ISP stated, is this an old DIAL up? modem, 2 wire POT telephone land line , modem or DSL line, it too is 2 wires.
actually even cable is. 2 wires, center and shield.

Is it still under warranty, if so i would send it back, because these are all the simptoms of a dead or damaged motherboard. These are all expensive to repair, so i would look to buy a new laptop, maybe the same model, so the hardrive can be added to the new computer to prevent data loss.

if u truely wanna see u have a wifi then go to device manager from my computer and click device manager and go to network adapters and explore it u must see it there and to get connected to awireless network, get closer to atmoast 100m from a wireless source and the network connections tab will give a message if not then u lack driver

Wireless connection? If so, make sure the wireless device is enabled on the newer one. If it's a red light, the wireless device may be faulty. If so, just get an external USB wireless device and use that. Check to see that the same lights are on with both PCs.
