My outside air conditioner fan is not turning, but when I push the reset button it runs for a while and begins cooling? Then it stops turning and gets hot inside again? What could be the deal?? It was 112 today PLEASE HELP

if the button your pushing is in the unit outside it is a manual reset for high head pressure this cuts off the unit to protect the compressor,you need to clean the coil .turn the unit off and gently push water through the coil in an up and down motion till water comes out clean see if that helps
