The engine oil drain plug is on the left side of the oil tank at the rear of the oil tank where the jiffy stand rests when it is in the up poisition.

How many miles do you have? You probably need to have your oil pump alligned. They get out of wack and cause over oiling. I believe it caused by not being able to return oil efficiently. An evo tappet block alignment tool is now used to align the TC internal oil pump.

Three quarts. Check the oil level with the bike on the side stand. The dipstick has two marks on it. The top mark is "Full Hot" and the lower mark is "Full Cold". Maintain the oil level between the two lines. Do not overfill.

Where is the oil drain plug for an 05' DWG harley?

The oil tank for your Wide Glide is on the bottom of the transmission. There should be two drains, one for the engine oil and one for the transmission. The oil drain is usually the lowest drain when the bike is on the side stand, the one closest to the left front of the oil pan. You can tell the instant you see the first drop whether it's engine oil or transmission oil. Engine oil will be black and the transmission lube will be almost clear. If you drain the transmission instead, it takes 20-24 ounces of the same H-D Syn3 20W50 engine oil.

Where is the Oil Drain Plug, and where is the Primary Drain Plug?

Oil drain plug is located to the front or left side of the Dyna's oil pan. The drain plug for the primary is near the lowest point of the primary cover itself. Be careful, what looks like a hex/allen head screw/plug is a 6 pointed "Torx" drain plug.
