Question about RCA WSP155 Main / Stereo Speaker

RCA WSP155 wont play in all modes

My RCA WSP155 wireless speakers are being used with a Philips MCD515 micro home theatre. The wireless speakers work great when in DVD mode but when in aux (television) or radio mode they do not receive a signal. If I plug the wireless into the headphone jack on the front they work in aux or radio mode but the stereos main speakers shut off.

Any suggestions how to get the wireless to play in all modes? Thank you.

I have the wireless transmitter plugged into the red and white rca audio out plugs on the back of the stereo using a y connector. For some reason when I select radio or aux mode the signal from the stereo is not being recognized by the wireless transmitter. There are no audio settings on the stereo to adjust. The tramsmitter must be connected correctly to the stereo because the wireless speakers work grat in DVD mode.

The speakers are plugged into the wall. They are not on battery power. As I said in the original post the wireless speakers work great when in the DVD mode so that tells me all is well. The problem seems to be why the speakers do not work when the stereo in in radio or aux mode.

There are batteries! (8 x “D” size Alkaline batteries) - 4 per speaker

So you need to ensure the following:

A) Check that power adapters and/or batteries are
connected properly and that power is on.

B) Make sure the control knob on the speaker is ON.

C) If using batteries, they may be too weak to
power the speakers. Replace the batteries.

D) Ensure the TV or audio component is on
and that the unit is receiving an adequate
audio signal.

E) The volume control knob on the speaker is set
too low. Adjust the volume if required.

My friend if you are using aux in tv or radio kindly  check the connections into the receiver, and ensure that the cable system or antenna is connected directly into your receiver, and that you are using the tuner with the receiver, not the one on the TV.  Also if you plug the wireless into the headphone jack try also to check the setting of your stereo to ensure that your main speakers neve shut off else it has something going on your setting configuration. Also you can try reconfigure and reset your settings in wireless to allign in your device using to ensure that all modes will play. Cause if you want to your wireless plays in all modes then the only you can do to make it work is by checking the connection of the receivers or you can edit and set your setting to adjust and work your wireless to a device you plug  or connected with.
Hope this suggestion helps your problem. If you need more assistance just reply to this post or contact me so that i can find new solution if this suggestion doesn't work.
If this solution works kindly rate this solution please. Thank you and godbless Thanks.

There should be a mini connector (Male) connection to 2 RCA (MALE) Connectors. You just hook the output of computer (Mini) plug to that then hookup your RCA connectors usually white and Red to the transmitter and it should work fine. Try the premium area if you need further assistance. Guru Jay

Problem adding wsp155 wireless speakers.

You must check with the instalation gude for the wireless speaker to see if the connection to the reciver is a high impedence or low impedence... If its like most wireless set-ups its going to be a high impedence output from the reciver to the transmitter part of the speakers. That would be from the RCA jacks in the back of the reciver maked line out or tape out. If you want to use them for a specific speaker output , some recivers have an output jack that would be labeled center sperker out but would be an RCA type jack ect ect. If your reciver dosent have that you can in a higher end audio store get an adaptor to convert the speaker output to a high impedence, But I dont recomend that as some of the adaptors do cause excessive strain on the output section of the amp or reciver.. If you buy a good one though you should be fine.. You get what you pay for.. Good Luck
