Question about Car Audio & Video
I own a Sony CDX GT170 stereo, and after some battery problems changed out that, after connecting everything back up and the radio won't turn on.
In common practice, and after reading the manual, you need to reset the stereo after every time the battery is disconnected.
After removing the first piece, where the diagram in the manual says there should be one, there is no reset button.
I've looked on the surfaces of both pieces thoroughly and cannot find anything remotely resembling a reset button.
The manual is for multiple models, so narrowing it down from there is tough.
I need to find the reset button for the stereo, or whatever so that it will turn back on.
If you remove the face you should see a small port hole with rest written above the hole
