I bought the PC version of Illustrator in 2007 with the CS3 design premium package. In March of this year both Illustrator and Photoshop stopped working. They both load like normal, but whenever I try to do anything (i.e. load a picture, save, etc.) both programs completely shut down. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I found that ZoneAlarm was inadvertently blocking it. I had to completely uninstall the service and then reinstall the latest version again. Now everything is working just as it should.

Here is how to crack Photoshop CS3 and get rid of the trial period:
1) Complete the installation as usual
2) Go to \\Adobe\\Adobe Photoshop CS3\\AMT
3) Rename the file called application.sif to application.sif_
According to something I read in another forum:
Use migration assistant (in utilities) to copy over Illustrator 10 via firewire from your G4 to your imac. This is the only thing that might work without upgrading to a newer version of Illustrator.
I'm planning on trying it with both Illustrator 10 and Indesign 2.0 - Photoshop 7 won't go at all no matter what one tries according to what I've read. I'll be upgrading to CS3 for Photoshop. No choice.
