my brand new lg lcd tv is scratched.. What is the best solution to get rid of this??

One really cheap and quick fix is to gently rub a little vaseline into the scratch, then even more gently rub off the excess, in the direction of the scratch. Oftentimes, though still visible when the screen is off, the scratch will virtually disappear when the display is on. An alternative method is to use white candle wax, which has been allowed to cool on the tip of a cotton swab. If this does not work, a fine rubbing compound can remove the scratch for real, assuming it is not too deep.
