Question about Kitchen Ranges
I do not know what make or model range you have, but MOST gas ranges made today do not have a pilot light. The surface igniters are usually ignited by an electric spark type igniter on each burner and the oven bake and broil manifolds each have a glow bar or spark igniter as well.
