My Ipod will not synchronize any songs.

i will drag the songs into my ipod through itunes and when i disconnect they are not there. PLEASE help me. i use my ipod everyday of my life and i am afraid if i restart it then it will erase all of my songs.

you can save it first before drag so even if they were restart you can save all your songs from your ipod..
