Question about Toshiba Satellite A215-S7422 Notebook
Will not boot - removed battery - left in ac adaptor - get lights for a second then shuts down. got it to come up on screen with date and time but then it just sat and locked up
Uneseat and reseat memory once stick at a time in each slot one at a time. Turn on the computer after each stick reinsertion and see if you can get video. If you get video, try to go into the BIOS. If you can then its a matter of reinstalling windows. If you can't get into the BIOS and it locks, try a different known good working hard drive and if that works then go ahead and restore your system back to factory defaults.
If your gettting intermittent video no matter what you do then your motherboard is bad and would have to be replaced.
