Question about LG Washing Machines
I'm having the same problem with my LB front loader. It appears on my husband's shirts, but will wash out. I've just unloaded my white sheets and the oil stains are all over the sheets! I so was tired of it that I googled the problem. It's been happening on and off. Probably can't see it on the dark clothes. Only notice on the whites. It's like a left over residue. I always use the extra rinse cycle too and still get it. I'm calling the LG service.

Front load greasy residue ,
Due usually to much detergent in each load, use smaller amounts.
To much detergent degrades the rubber seals and gaskets and rubber seal also in some front loaders around the door too!
Over the life of a front loading washer the seal/gasket degrades
largely due to the chemicals in the detergent as well as bleach.
Most gaskets/seals get hard and brittle therefore the over the life of a front loading washer
the seal/gasket degrades largely due to the chemicals in the detergent as well as bleach.
....please rate this ....thanks

Check that the dispenser is clean, it may be gunged up with black gunge, use soda crystals and put machine on hottest wash. If all is clean it could be down to seal gone in drum letting grease into system. Good luck, let me know how it goes.

Hi from Australia
Ok the problem with your washing machine is that there is grease and oil stuck in the machine and the oil will dribble out when you run the machine on a different cycle if you rince with cold water then the oil stays in there and the hot water lets a little bit out as it is stuck in the pipes of your machine ok the first thing is run an empty load on full hot water even the rince cycle with 1 cup of bleach nothing else let that go through the long cycle then do the same again with 1 cup of white vinger and 1/2 cup citric acid which you should be able to get over there or baking soda try that it will clean your machine and your pipes it is great way to keep it all clean by the time you have done this you should not have any brown stains
Have a great weekend
