How do you change how the door opens on the sanyo sr4310W refrigerator?

It opens from the right side and we want it to open on the left. my husband took off the feet on the bottom and now does not remember how they go on. We changed the door to open on the left but the feet screws and plate need to go back on

Move your food to another fridge. Shut your fridge off and manually defrost it. This used to be a farily common practice. Just leave the door(s) open, and let'er melt. You can have a fan blow in it (don't put the fan in the fridge). Thaw completely, and try again. It may have tripped on a thermal overload, so the compressor may have shut down. It may restart after it has cooled.

Ok, I know I should not have done this but I did. I was impatient with the defrosting and stabbed my Sanyo SR3770s' evaporator with my Smith and Wesson switch blade knife. A very tiny hole, made a swooshing noise and now the fridge won't get cold. Can this be repaired for a minimal price? Perhaps just replacing the evaporator plate and reinstalling some freon, maybe, hopefully?
Let me know. Basically a brand new unit, hate to see it go to the dump!

What I understand from your query is that you want to alter the door opening direction If I'm right... Altering the door such that it opens on the counter side is possible. but in most cases, it ruins the working of the device completely.. actually changing the direction causes many things to go wild from the refrigerator light switch. to the refrigerator doors gasket. Also it requires some new holes to be drilled at the other side... That turns the alteration to more complex and tricky.. In a nut shell, I would not suggest to have such changes to your equipment.

Switching door sides

some model you can, some you can't....if there are pre drilled holes with plastic plugs on the opposite side you can....you will need to purchase hinges and maybe handles.

it doesn't appear that this is possible with this unit, typically anymore you can't change the doors on refigerators as there are too many services (ice, water, freon) going through the door, and yours has a permanently attach tag at the top right and there are no holes on the other side of the door for the handle. some would think that you could turn the door over and that would put the handle on the other side, but i am betting that it will not work

Swap door sides on hotpoint future RLA30 fridge?

tip unit over on side,placing an old blanket or similar on floor under unit.there are 3 little bolt/screws holding each bracket to the underside of unit,unscrew these/lay brackets on floor, slide door down off pin on underside of top.and unscrew this pin.change over from right to left replace door onto pin replace bottom hingepin,adjust door for" squareness " and tighten all screws lift back upright and switch on...will take a little time to settle down temp wise.... make sure seal sits tight all round good luck ..geoff

Help . Change doors from right to left opening

first remove the door from the fridge, remove the hardware connected to the fridge, on the opposite side should be rubber or plastic caps covering some bolt holes. remove caps and install top of hinge transfer everything you see on the left to the right
