Exact Same Problem

Have now been on Dell tech support five different times in one year for the same problem, each time assured by the rep -- after they update my BIOS each time -- that "the problem will never happen again." The power light glows amber, the fan powers up high for five seconds, shuts off for five, up for five, off for five, literally for hours. Unplugging everything, even power, for one minute, 5 mins. 30 mins. makes no difference. Occasionally, after several hours, it will simply power up on its own, no rhyme or reason. This was my fourth Dell computer -- it is my last. No wonder they are losing market share.

Wow heard they have bad power supplies , you may want to check into it as they overheat the cpu's and this is the cuase, Dell in my book is not a got brand however Hp would be a better choice for a computer.

I think you should try working as a virtual assistant. I know you can do it since you were a rep from Dell. As a virtual assistant you will assist your Boss from all his/her tasks and all the "to-dos", still you will work from home with just a computer and (of course) internet connection. the tech is saying that they replaced the motherboard and if they replaced it with the same model number and the manufacturer didnt fix the problem you had to begin with then the new issue is just a mirror of the old one and will require a Motherboard to fix.

Ok when you get black strips chances are your blade on your drum work out of your fuser could be bad, if thier voids then thast a different problem, you need to call a tech if your in ct then i could help you with this problem yea b
ut you need to call a service tech tell him a Copystar rep/Royal Copystar Rep informed him to bring alade with him and maybe be prepared to rebuilt your fuser- CALL A SERVICE TECH- we could use the business.

monitor your signal strength. watch and see if it falls under 60% at any time. It should always be in the high 80% to mid 90%. If it does drop there could be something interfering witht the dish.

Dell 32' lcd


I have the exact TV with the same concern. I disassembled my set and removed the sound module to verify part numbers. The cheapest one I could find was on eBoob for over $100.00. My solution was to buy an inexpensive sound bar at Radio Shack and install it. Very simple to connect and it sounds fine. I wouldn't suggest putting money into a low quality TV like the Dell, another board may blow out at any time per several techs I talked to.

One year old coffee maker won't brew


I had the same problem, only this happened on the last 3 dcc-2000 I purchased. I called customer service today, and they informed me that there is a 3 year warranty on this product. Wow... This time they really helped. I have made 2 phone calls to customer service, and was put on hold for over 20min. each time they found out what machine I was calling about. Call customer service, and don't give up!
the number is 1-800-726-0190. you will need the serial # from the bottom of the unit (stamped in) and the model #.
