hi dennis .. as far i know the default certificate is like an operating sys. for the terminal , u should send it to any verified centers for maintenance ..

check to see if there is button stuck. it sounds like it is just in need of a quick clean to make sure the buttons are not sticking

What did you do to the vx670 before you had that stuck screen on loading problem??

VeriFone provides a clear tamper application to its service centres. you would have to locate a service centre closest to you to have that error cleared.

I also need to change the network settings on my Verifone VX 670 as i have recently installed a new wifi connection. Any help would be appreciated!

Depending if your terminal is on the IDLE PROMPT SCREEN or the VMAC SCREEN... you would select SETTLE on your terminal. If there is a password it should 1 alpha alpha 66831 (default pwd by Verifone). Then proceed with confirming the totals on the screen by pressing the GREEN "Enter" KEY
