Now video? All the lights are on? Tree beep codes? A long one followed by two shorte once? Found solution, at least with my two HP dv9000 series laptops. The video chip on the bottom side of motherboard needs to be re-flowed. The best way to check it is to apply decent pressure on the left side of keyboard until you feel that you’ve pressed the motherboard against the bottom side of laptop. Good for couple start ups unless you hit it hard J. If it works, find a manual on HP site how to take your laptop apart and use this video how to re-flow motherboard.

Depending upon your BIOS manufacturer, generally this POST error code means either a video problem or a motherboard problem. The video card on a laptop may not have its own RAM and it uses part of the main memory. Reseat the RAM module/s and id this doesn't work get the RAM module/s tested in another laptop or at your friendly computer shop.
If the RAM is OK then you have a motherboard problem, and this may not be cost effective to fix. Consider putting your money towards a new laptop, remove the hard disk and put it into an external USB adapter case and use it as an USB hard drive for backup etc.

HP DV9000 blank screen 1 long and 2 short beeps at start up

This is a indicator of motherboard failure, first! remove one stick of ram memory and try again, if no! remove second piece and put back the first and power up, if no result! the motherboard has major issues and will need to be replaced, or new laptop.

Hp pavillon dv9000 soun problem

Very sad to tell you that this is a very know issue with the HPs running on dv9000. The things you can do as a simple steps is to restore your computer to an earlier date it your issue occurred very recently.

Else what you can try is to update your BIOS with the latest upgrade from HP website
Upgrade your audio / sound card drivers with the latest versions available.

Note :- Even HP hasnt come up yet with a permanent fix for the problem I guess.

If you need suitable assistance you can also get online technical support. I would suggest you to contact TheBestPcDoctor. I get my issues fixed by them.If you need you may also contact them @

Turns on but will not load anything?

Assuming you mean turns on as in powers up but not loading OS...
Whenit boots press F8 or F2 for safe boot and then choose safe boot... see if the machine stops at CRCDISK.SYS. If so you will need to do a rescue of the disk if possible...reloading the OS. If that fails the DV9000 series has a known issue with NVIDIA video drivers and a google search on the two together DV9000 and NVIDIA problem will give you all kinds of info on the issue. There is a class action lawsuit in relation to the error on NVIDIA because it is a non-recoverable error. Final option is a BIOS error and to flash teh BIOS you need to be able to get into the Operating System. If the system is beeping or flashing the LED lights (power, battery, etc) during start up. This is the computers own code and dependent on the flash/beeps youwill be able to diagnose better. So listen for two short and one long, etc.

DV9000Z beep codes

1 long, 2 short on the HP DV9000 is "bad video adapter". Since your video card is integrated into your motherboard, you're looking at replacing the entire board (between $200-$400 on average) + labor costs. It would be more cost effective to purchase a new laptop for $100-$200 more, with full warranty.

Hope this helps, and remember to rate those that offer free help :)
