Question about Casio EXILIM Card EX-S770 Digital Camera
Mine won't turn on...unless I hit the red button, then the menu button, then repeat...the red, then the menu. When the menu comes up, it wants to reset the date/time etc. I just ignore that and hit the menu button once more and it's ready to shoot. Pain in the you know what.
No more Casio cameras.

The red flashing after a few seconds means it's not charging - refer to the user guide on the CD. We had this problem - it occurred after the battery was totally discharged. Happened 3 times when battery was left in camera for an extended period and completely discharged, would not charge again. Keep at least a little charge on the battery, or remove from the camera for extended periods.

Might be. Happened with my EXILIM camera too. If the power button doesn't work, try using the green arrow button (one used to display pictures) and the red camera button (to take pictures)

This maybe a solution. I had the same issue just now. Pulled battery, put back in, placed on dock, and still blinking red. So I removed the camera from the dock, pulled battery, put same old battery back in, placed on the dock and turned the mode switch on right away before it started blinkin red. It seems to be charging now with one bar and has not gone blinking red for 15 minutes.
I was outside with the camera in 10 degree weather taking pics of my dogs but had been inside for 20 minutes before placing it on the doc. I think something may have happened with the charging circuit and turning it on right away with it on the doc may have reset the charging. Try it. Hope it works for you.
