This sounds like a common issue. The boot manager file "NTLDR" Can become corrupt or go missing due to a few situations.
1) Shut down improperly
2) Virus
3) Bad hard disk
4) Windows being windows.
Too fix this simply use a windows 7 cd and boot from it.
Choose the Repair option and let it do its thing. If i recall there's also a repair startup option you can use aswell.
Windows repair usually fixes the problem but if that doesnt work you can also put the hard disk into another computer and copy over replacement boot loader files.
""
Try that. The windows repair usually works but if you have to use the alternative and it doesnt work it could be your MBR. Windows repair also fixes this but theres an old command you can run from the dos shell of the cdrom "mbrfix or fixmbr" That will take care of it.
Good Luck :)
