Question about Arris Computers & Internet
On an arris modem, if the telephone light is solid, then there is dial tone coming into the modem. that means the problem is somewhere in the house wiring. check to make sure the phone line is plugged into line 1 on the back of the modem. next make sure it is plugged into the wall jack. if this is correct then you need the cable co to come out and troubleshoot your inside wiring. as a quick fix, you can plug your phone into the jack on the back of the modem labled line 1/2
